For this edition of the (queer)feminist party series Hoe__mies, the special feature is the collaboration with two other collectives from the club scene: the British underground streaming platform Keep Hush and the feminist VJ collective Prizesin Haralt. As usual, only FLINTA DJs will be on the decks, including both local and international DJs from Portugal and India. Soundwise, the party covers a spectrum ranging from club and bass music to reggaeton and other so-called urban music genres, as well as more electronic genres like jungle and techno.

A true Berlin Original, Hoe_mies started out as a club night turned political statement against the monotony of a male dominated DJ and promoter scene. Our mission, to embolden our community by prioritizing safety and showcasing female and genderqueer talents, has catapulted Hoe_mies into Germany’s most talked about femme-focused club night. Pulling together a broad spectrum of genres from Hip Hop, Dancehall & Afrobeats to Breakbeat, Electro and Techno, Hoe_mies is praised by many for not only championing awareness in the club space but also attracting the who’s who of international club music.
