Glambient

Glambient at kwia is a curated event series that celebrates ambient music in its most diverse range. As part of the TAG DER CLUBKULTUR 2023, Glambient showcases queer and BIPoC artists based in Berlin.On six nights during October 2-8, kwia hosts performers and DJ sets that create unique soundscapes. Glambient allows artists the freedom to showcase their own interpretations of what "ambient" means to them, breaking free from preconceived notions and embracing diverse expressions within all genres, exploringinnen, ihre eigenen Interpretationen von "Ambient" zu präsentieren, sich von vorgefassten Vorstellungen zu lösen und vielfältige Ausdrucksformen in allen Genres zu umarmen, darunter deconstructed club, IDM, Dub, Trip-Hop, R&B, Glitch, Shoegaze, Dream-Pop und darüber hinaus. Statt sich an Erwartungen des Dancefloors zu halten, schafft Glambient spezifische Stimmungen und Atmosphären und bringt Künstler*innen mit vielfältigen Hintergründen für ein immersives und grenzüberschreitendes Erlebnis zusammen.

kwia is a chill-out space and collective that explores gentle forms of club culture centered around deep listening, focusing on ambient music and providing a safe(r) space for BiPoc and queer communities.
