Yalla Hafla (“Let’s Party” in Arabic), was founded and produced by Judy Ladivina, an Israeli Drag Queen, and The Darvish, a Syrian belly dance sensation, since 2017. For us, Yalla Hafla is a token of appreciation for our heritage and a bridge to nurturing the underrepresented Arabic Jewish harmony. Since 2021, the main Yalla Hafla event has been taking place at Tipsy Bear Berlin, every second Monday of the month, offering the ravers an uplifting bridge into the new week. The fact that our crowd just like our collective, is a mixture of queer people from Syria, Iran, Palestine, Israel, Germany, and the rest of the world, is our loudest declaration of love and coexistence. When our so-called leaders, keep on spreading divisive ideologies. We choose to make Hafla, NOT WAR!
